Fake single-use Camera

To summarise: The camera should take 24 photos, I only got to 12 and it stopped working. The camera is held together with isolation tape repackaged and sold as new. You can see very clearly in the photos I took of the FAKE CAMERA.

I bought a single-used camera, which was packed in a box and a sealed plastic bag, The camera it's self is enclosed in a cardboard box as usual with Spanish instruction. It looked like it was brand new but it isn't. I even double confirmed with the one of the owner about ISO, frames...etc, they told me it was all good. I paid 6 euro for it. Went to Park Guel, took some photos up to number 12, it stopped completely. even though it said on the box 24 frames. I teared open the cardboard box which encased the camera to find it was actually a DM camera from Germany and held together with electrical isolation tape... I COULDN"T BELIEVE IT....

I went back to the shop, to inform them that the camera is a scam as I believed they didn't know anything about it, the fake camera. The woman who sold me the camera was very angry and claimed that all the single use cameras are "taped", and it's normal; it is impossible that the camera will be fake by any chance as she got the cameras straight from the back stock. She said to me, "if you don't know how to use this kind of camera, don't buy it, all the tourist come here and buy these cameras and no one has come back to complain, if you want to get a great camera, go and spend 300-400euro, don't come here". and Owner's whole family was shouting at me, saying that the store is very old and reputed, and I am trying to give them hard time.

I wouldn't mind if the camera was taped camera if it worked, but clearly it wasn't working at all. And the film inside looks rather strange as the film role case was broken anyway inside.... no chance you can get the roll out safely without exposed it.

I just want to let as many people know as possible as it's really upsetting and disappointing, maybe the shop owners have no idea about what exactly a single-use camera should be, but all those photos are GONE, that's the most annoying me.....

photo no.1: cardboard box
photo no. 2: used camera, electrical isolation tape, broken film roll and unknown material film.
photo no. 3: expire date of the camera
photo no. 4: close up of the isolation tape with some original camera's instruction part.
photo no 5: broken camera roll case and close up of the unknown materiel film.

P.S. I even did some research maybe I am wrong, maybe it was a nice thing to recycle those single-use camera, but you can't sell it as brand new, fooling people around.... specially tourist who probably will only find out when they leave the country...........

P.S. I even did some research maybe I am wrong, maybe it was a nice thing to recycle those single-use camera, but the fact is: you can't sell it as brand new if it isn't, take no responsibility by fooling people around.... specially tourist who probably will only find out when they leave the country...........
